Build the software platform that powers ColoMAIA II. You'll work on real-time AI inference, hospital integration, data pipelines, and the clinical dashboards that help physicians and hospitals manage procedures at scale.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the ColoMAIA II software platform (backend + frontend)
  • Integrate with hospital EMR/HIS systems (HL7, DICOM, FHIR protocols)
  • Build real-time data pipelines and clinical dashboards
  • Optimize AI inference performance and latency for real-time operation
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy and monitor models in production
We're looking for
  • Strong backend development skills (Python, Node.js, or similar)
  • Frontend experience (React, Vue, or modern web frameworks)
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability (HL7, DICOM, FHIR a plus)
  • Database design and optimization (SQL, NoSQL)
  • Comfortable working in a regulated medical device environment

Advance the AI that powers ColoMAIA II. Improve polyp detection accuracy, reduce false positives, and expand detection to new lesion types. Work with real clinical data and collaborate with clinicians to ensure your models solve real problems.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and improve computer vision models for polyp and lesion detection
  • Work with clinical data to understand false positives and edge cases
  • Optimize models for real-time inference on edge hardware
  • Conduct ablation studies and validate improvements in clinical settings
  • Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and regulatory submissions
We're looking for
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Track record with computer vision (CNN, detection, segmentation)
  • Understanding of medical imaging and clinical validation
  • Experience with model optimization and edge deployment (ONNX, TensorRT a plus)
  • Collaborative mindset - you work with clinicians, not just datasets
